- Provide general HR support to managers and employees
- Collaborate with HR leadership on projects and initiatives that are valuable to supporting the strategic priorities of the organization and division
- Assist with staffing related activities
- Partner with managers on corrective action, salary administration, attendance management, recognition programs, performance management, onboarding/exit programs, and service award pin distribution
- Perform investigations to handle operational/employee relations issues
- Provide coaching and counseling to employees and managers
- Collaborate with HR teammates on global initiatives and benchmarking
- Support positive employee relations and engagement through safety and wellness programs, compensation reviews, and benefits communications
- Support the development and implementation of programs aligned with the business strategy
- Perform HR Specialist duties including WorkForce time coding and reporting, SAP entry, creating new hire packets, assisting employees in the benefits site, data entry, etc.
- Must be able to handle and prioritize a demanding workload
- Ability to work with employees and managers at all levels of the organization
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Handle all employee issues and personal data with discretion and integrity to foster a trustworthy and secure work environment
- Must be willing to work an altered schedule
- Coordinate and facilitate employee and manager training as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Four year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is preferred
- Preferred 2 years of Human Resource experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and customer service orientation
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize and proactively meet deadlines
- Professional with excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong PC skills; Outlook, Word and Excel required, SAP and SharePoint preferred (testing required for this position)
