Job Description

LotusWorks is an Engineering Services provider specializing in managing Commissioning, Construction Services, Calibration, Operations & Maintenance scopes of work within global manufacturing facilities. The HR Generalist will provide hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle, partnering closely with managers and employees to support talent development, employee relations, performance management, employee well-being, and HR programs. This role will serve as a trusted resource to managers, helping them navigate employee matters, develop their teams, and effectively apply HR policies and processes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and balancing day-to-day HR support with broader organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

Coaching Managers and their teams

  • Providing day-to-day coaching to help managers problem solve
  • Support org development and change management
  • Offer coaching on career development, performance improvement, and navigating company policies to help employees maximize their potential and maintain a positive work environment

Employee Well-being

  • Supporting the social and psychological well-being of employees
  • Helping to deliver programs and initiatives related to employee well-being

Talent Planning

  • Coach managers on career paths and development plans for their top performers
  • Actively partner with managers to identify underperforming employees and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Support annual performance and talent review processes

Employee Relations

  • Coaching managers to address conflicts and build/execute resolution plans
  • Investigating employee complaints/grievances and developing recovery plans
  • Actively managing and educating the progressive discipline program

Data & Analytics

  • Leveraging people analytics and reporting techniques to support business KPI’s and HR audits.

Policy and Procedures

  • Translating HR policies and procedures to meet business needs
  • Executing HR processes locally with a standardized approach

Training Content Delivery

  • Providing management and employee training
  • Supporting annual HR processes, such as performance reviews and calibrations

Employee/Manager Services

  • Partner with immigration attorneys to facilitate the visa’s, green cards, work permits, etc.
  • Completion and processing of employee life cycle changes

Miscellaneous

  • Champion and participate in ad hoc HR projects
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, based on organizational needs and priorities
  • Travel commitment up to 20% across US sites.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role is required
  • Proficient in HR policies, practices, and employment law
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with discretion
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and partnering with employees and managers at various levels of the organization

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, is required
  • Active PHR/SHRM-CP preferred
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
