Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting all facets of Human Resources, with a
primary focus on full life cycle recruiting and payroll administration for a growing precast concrete
manufacturing operation. This role partners closely with production, operations, and leadership
teams to attract, retain, and support a skilled workforce while ensuring accurate payroll processing
and compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full life cycle recruiting for hourly production related positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment
strategies.
- Create and post job advertisements across various platforms.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates.
- Participate in job fairs, workforce development initiatives, community outreach programs,
and recruiting events.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communication.
- Other duties as assigned by Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 2-3 years of Human Resources experience required.
- Experience with full cycle recruiting and payroll processing.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems.
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Primarily in office-based role
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
