We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist with strong Leave of Absence experience to support employees and managers while ensuring compliance with California and federal employment laws. Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Manage employee leaves including accommodations, and Workers’ Compensation
• Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws
• Coordinate with other HR, Payroll and Benefits teams
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee documentation
• Handle sensitive employee situations with professionalism and empathy

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management, or related field
• 3+ years of HR Generalist/Specialist experience
• 1+ year of Leave of Absence administration experience
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and California leave requirements
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance
• PHR, SPHR, PHR-CA, SPHR-CA, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
• Nonprofit or union experience is a plus

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $77K to $82K, depending on experience.
