Job Description

Your Role

Oversee the full local HR lifecycle—from hiring and mobility to exit—along with local training, compensation, labor/union relations, and HR reporting within a specific region.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR Director in completing all required tasks and reporting in order to meet or exceed all corporate requirements.

  • Help employees and managers navigate through HR tools and processes.

  • Develop complex and strategic ad hoc reporting as required

  • Assist with audits necessary to maintain corporate compliance and insure adherence to laws and regulations.

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all employees by answering employee questions and/or responding to employee inquiries.

  • Administers drug testing programs and coordinating quarterly random testing as required.

  • Maintains employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and retention policies.

  • Processes all invoices for the department in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for onboarding all new employees, ensuring that all paperwork has been received and processed in a timely manner, including I-9 verification.

  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to: Brenntag Code of

  • Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Protective Agreement, Dispute Resolution Agreement, DDOL, EEOC etc.

  • Supports the vision and mission of the company.

  • Perform other tasks and projects as needed to support the human resources department.

Your Profile

Education/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (business, organizational management, human resources management or related degree), and a minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-look up, etc.)

  • Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, and Cornerstone experience preferred.

  • Multi-state experience is preferred.

  • Must have experience supporting front-line management

  • Experience in warehousing, manufacturing or distribution environments strongly preferred.
