Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting multiple lines of roles and responsibilities such as: Benefits administration, performance management, recruitment, employment processing/on boarding, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, training, employment law compliance, payroll, development and implementation for both policies and procedures.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
• Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
• Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
• Performs benefits administration
• Recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, and Interns
• Understanding of FLSA and Multi-state payroll regulations
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
• Manage company leave programs by effectively interpreting FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
• Annual reporting, such as OSHA, EEO-1 and Vet 100/A
• Handles employee relations counseling, investigations, and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) preparation
• Work with supervisors to implement progressive discipline
• Advise employees and supervisors about company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures
• Prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management
• Administration of human resource programs as assigned
• Identify potential issues in a proactive and timely manner
• Familiarity with Affirmative Action and OFCCP compliance
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent time management, organizational and detailed skills
• Ability to work in a diverse fast-paced environment
• PHR or SPHR preferred
Qualifications
