Mountain Vista Senior Living Community, part of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest (ABHM), is hiring an HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations in our senior living community. What You’ll Do

  • Provide broad HR support including employee engagement, benefits administration, safety initiatives, and HR compliance
  • Partner with department leaders on recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
  • Support employee relations by responding to HR inquiries and assisting with conflict resolution
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives for team members
  • Lead employee engagement and recognition programs that promote a positive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws as well as ABHM policies
  • Maintain HR records, assist with HRIS systems, and support HR reporting as needed
  • Promote and uphold ABHM’s mission, values, and commitment to service

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and employee relations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS or payroll systems such as UKG

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare, senior living, or related industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
