Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field, and 5 prior experiences in human resources.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR required (must have).
  • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS),
  • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
  • Ability to travel by car as necessary to effectively service the needs of the Organization.
  • Traveling to Denver and the 3 other locations in COS on short notice is a must


This person will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, implementing and monitoring policies and practices related to the HR department and other duties assigned in providing quality services for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Benefits

(Benefits are subject to change based on reevaluation or benefit plan changes annually.) Benefits begin at first of the following month after completing a full 30 days of employment (i.e. start date 4 January 2025, benefits initiate 1 March 2025).

Pay Range $60,000 – 65,000 annually paid bi-weekly based off experience and education.

Shift 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday (in office)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Uphold the mission, values, policies, and procedures of Roundup Fellowship.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring; collaborate with managers on position needs and competencies.
  • Utilize various advertising and recruitment methods to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation, onboarding processes, HR trainings, and employee recognition efforts.
  • Maintain confidential employee records (I-9s, background checks, medical, workers’ compensation, etc.).
  • Update job descriptions as needed and ensure completion of background checks and eligibility verifications.
  • Support HR functions including benefits, leave administration, employee relations, performance management, investigations, and safety compliance.
  • Respond to applicant and employee inquiries, escalating sensitive issues as needed.
  • Participate in disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and HR best practices; keep current on HR trends and regulatory updates.
  • Support and maintain a physically and psychologically safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Excel, and database/recordkeeping tools.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and knowledgeable in employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to travel locally by car to meet organizational needs.

BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Normal physical mobility, hearing, and vision required.
  • Requires emotional stability, mental flexibility, maturity, and the ability to manage challenging situations.
