JOB FUNCTION:
Supports Human Resources with evaluating information gathered from multiple sources and decomposes high-level information into details. Provides financial reporting and technology support to the process area to maximize the quality and delivery of HR programs and services in support of the overall Company strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Contributes to the development and implementation of initiatives to improve Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs related to identification of cost efficiencies, cost effectiveness, and cross-functional benchmarking reporting and metrics. Leads and supports annual benchmarking continuous improvement efforts, working closely with management teams overseeing strategic initiatives to track and report cost-saving efforts. Analyzes data and trends and supports efforts to incorporate use of data in performance measurement, management audits, continuous improvement, etc. Assists with Staffing Committee meeting minutes and follow-up items.
Assists with the monthly financial reporting for HR and extracting of monthly data and reports, UI Planner updates, monitor, and analyze financial performance, which is inclusive of, but not limited to, tracking of daily flex spending account activity, account reconciliations, variance analysis, data extraction, and assists with dashboard data refreshing and refinement. Works with key stakeholders to identify root causes for discrepancies, supports the implementation and reporting of cost containment and efficiency measures, and other financial analysis, as required. Responsible for and oversees the Process Area’s procurement process which includes creation of purchase requisitions, service entry sheets, and maintenance of the HR procurement log.
Document processes, identifies HR concerns, and compiles data analysis reports. Acts as a change agent for business process adoption and improvement. Assists with managing changes that results from new requirements, defects, or incidents through the implementation process. Performs statistical analysis, summaries, and interprets data into business pertinent information. Ensures the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data. Analyzes information flow across different business processes and systems and how it supports business objectives.
Assists with and provides support for the development, preparation, submission, presentation and execution of submissions for significant investigations and other regulatory matters before the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (“PUC” or “Commission”), including testimony, exhibits, work papers, and information request responses.
