What we’re looking for

We are recruiting a knowledgeable and proactive HR Documentation professional to support the business objectives through the delivery of high-quality core documentation and expert advice services. You’ll provide commercially focused, legally compliant advice and support via telephone, Teams, and email to clients across a range of industry sectors, ensuring that their employment law and HR documentation remains up to date, compliant, and fit for purpose.

The role involves drafting and reviewing bespoke documentation, accurately recording all advice using internal systems, and delivering remote or on-site support for more complex or contentious matters. You will also contribute to the production of employment law updates and articles, participate in an out-of-hours advice rota, and undertake delegated HR projects, including training and consultancy delivery where required. A commitment to ongoing professional development and completion of management-specified training is essential.

About you

You’ll be either a qualified legal professional (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) or an individual with an equivalent HR/ER qualification or relevant experience. Candidates will have strong attention to detail and experience of legal and policy drafting. This may include newly qualified legal professionals with at least two years’ experience as a trainee or paralegal, or individuals with more than two years’ experience delivering employment law and employee relations advice within a legal or HR setting. Applicants must demonstrate up-to-date technical knowledge of employment law, competence across core advisory areas, excellent Microsoft Word formatting skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a largely fixed-fee model. Strong prioritisation skills, commercial awareness, and a commitment to high standards of client care are essential, alongside a proven track record of achieving business objectives and client satisfaction. You’ll be a collaborative team player whose behaviours align with the values and supportive, high-performing culture at WorkNest, where professionalism, continuous improvement and shared success are at the heart of what we do.
