Job responsibilities:

1. Lead the HR team with 3 Managers as direct reports. The scope of responsibilities covers C&B, HRIS Management, TA, Talent Development, Labour Management, Training, Employer Branding, Employee Engagement, Mobility, H&S and General Admin.
2. Part of the Local Management team that consists of C-Suite and Management Directors who actively discuss company plan and issues for the achievement of business goals.
3. Key in managing stakeholder relationships both internally and externally such as local business partners, local authority, universities for talent pipeline and Global Officers of the Company.
4. Appointed as a member in the Discipline Committee for a subsidiary company. Along with the Committee, they will discuss and confirm disciplinary action proposed by the subsidiary HR.

Requirements:

1. Degree with post-graduate qualifications in HR Mgt and Compensation & Benefits.
2. Good working knowledge of all employment and related laws and legislation.
3. 10-12 years of experience in human resources management in the region including well-rounded experience in the various HR disciplines, of which 5 years should be in a Head of Dept position which required the incumbent to develop the team in terms of HR development, compensation & benefits, employee engagement.
4. Track record of working closely with Snr Mgt team in matrix-managed organizations.
5. Must have prior experience in the retail.
6. Business partnering oriented and the ability to provide both strategic and tactical leadership in human resources.
7. Strong written/spoken communications and influencing skills with assertiveness and decisiveness, carefully balanced with tact and diplomacy.
8. Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish confidence and credibility.
9. Highly motivated & independent individual coupled with strong tenacity and the ability to multitasks and problem solve efficiently to achieve expected standard of timeliness and accuracy.
10. Good numerical and analytical skills.
