About the role

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The Delivery Driver will be required to operate a delivery vehicle, maintain accurate records of deliveries, and ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods to customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain delivery records and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
• Ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Hand unloading of goods throughout the day (12-15kg each box)
• Pre-vehicle checks and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Roster details:

Monday – Friday – start time can vary between 3am-5am – 9-hour shifts

Location Minchinbury, NSW

Salary: $33.86 per hour. Being a permanent full-time employee entitles you to annual leave, sick/carer’s leave, and superannuation contributions.

Requirements

• HR Driver licence and Forklift licence. Forklift license preferred but not essential
• Minimum two years driving experience
• Sound knowledge of Greater Sydney Metropolitan areas
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
• Warehouse duties as required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service skills and ability to build relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic pre-check vehicles
• A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening is required
• RMS driving record print out required
