Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the People Business Partner, the HR Advisor will be responsible for delivery of a full range of human resource services. One of your main roles will be to provide expert professional advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of people management, which fully reflects current employment legislation and best practice.

Location: Slough

Job Type: 1-year fixed term contract

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 years

Salary: £28,940 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • End to end administrative support to the HR team. This includes processing new starters, change of details, leavers on to the HR database.
  • Ensure that all new starter documentation is returned and recorded on to the HR database.
  • Ensure that references are obtained and completed for previous employees applying for a new job.
  • Provide general advice to employees and line managers on administrative issues connected with absence, holidays, maternity/ paternity and general HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide efficient, effective and accurate support to the HR process by ensuring accurate administration and achievement of deadlines through thorough accuracy and diligence checks.
  • Supporting the HR department in conducting investigations particularly in relation to sickness and timekeeping concerns.
  • Producing probation-related documentation, including invitation and outcome letters, along with other routine HR correspondence and employee lifecycle documentation.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and information to the Company’s benefit providers ensure that all starters, leavers and grade changes are captured.
  • Provide administrative and generalist support to the HR team as requested.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties or projects as directed.
