Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day work of the HR team who services 500 employees; and helps create a welcoming employee experience across both the Downtown (‘Town Club’) and Santa Monica (‘Beach Club.’) This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, service-minded, and enjoys taking initiative while supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee programs, and HR operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, filing, employment requests, and maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
• Create clear and engaging HR flyers, communication boards, and employee updates.
• Support HR compliance activities, including introductory-period reviews, I-9 tracking, and benefits enrollment.
• Assist employees and managers with general HR questions, requests, and day-to-day support.
• Coordinate employee recognition programs, monthly and quarterly celebrations, annual traditional HR events, and special HR events.
• Assist in executing the process and tracking of all invoices, supplies, shipments, employee gifts, and general HR office organization.
• Support Heart of the House decorations and special projects that help promote a positive employee culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of Human Resources, administrative, or related experience preferred
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
• Comfortable learning and working with HR systems; UKG PRO experience is a plus
• Able to work independently while also being a supportive team member

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Additional education or training in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus

Pay Range: $27.00/hour - $29.00/hour
