Your Role
PSC Biotech is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team on a 7-month temporary contract. This position will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support across Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, helping ensure an efficient and positive employee and candidate experience.
The role will begin with a greater in-office presence in Pomona, CA during the initial period of the contract to support onboarding, training, relationship building, and learning internal processes. As the employee becomes established and demonstrates proficiency in the role, the position will transition to a more flexible hybrid schedule with increased opportunities to work remotely.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team.

Coordinate and support employee onboarding, including new-hire paperwork, orientation, system access, and required documentation.

Assist with employee offboarding and ensure all required processes and documentation are completed.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS information.

Assist employees and managers with routine HR questions related to policies, procedures, benefits, timekeeping, and other HR processes.

Support benefits administration and employee communications.

Prepare HR reports, documents, correspondence, presentations, and other materials as needed.

Assist with employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and HR events.

Coordinate HR meetings, calendars, communications, and events.

Assist with HR audits, data collection, reporting, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Support the administration and tracking of employee training, certifications, and other required records.

Assist with maintaining HR files and ensuring documentation is organized and up to date.

Help ensure HR processes and documentation are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.

Provide general administrative support to the Associate Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition and other members of the HR team.

Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives within Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.

Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for employees, candidates, and internal stakeholders.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs and priorities of the Human Resources department and the organization.
Requirements

1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Experience working with an HRIS, applicant tracking system, or other HR technology preferred.

Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with the HR team and employees.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Benefits
W2 Temp Roles include our Medical and Sick Time benefits.
A $2,500 completion bonus will be provided upon successful completion of the full 7-month contracted period, subject to satisfactory performance and fulfillment of the responsibilities and expectations of the role.
To be eligible for the completion bonus, the employee must remain actively employed through the scheduled end date of the contract and be meeting performance expectations at the conclusion of the assignment. Additional eligibility and payment terms will be outlined in the applicable employment or contract agreement.
The hourly rate for this role is $25. The rate offered may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
