Responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator may be assigned to focus on specific areas within HR Operations depending on departmental needs. These areas include, but are not limited to, Leave Management, Onboarding Coordination, and Payroll Support. While assignments may vary, core responsibilities include:
Coordinates onboarding for candidates who receive job offers from Talent Acquisition. Ensures all onboarding steps and system processes are completed, communicates progress to stakeholders, resolves issues in collaboration with Compliance, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition, and schedules orientation.
Complete payroll processing and address payroll-related inquiries and corrections. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues raised by the payroll processor.
Manage the leave of absence process by working with internal resources and third-party vendor MetLife. Ensure employees receive clear communication and support throughout their leave.
Facilitate benefit enrollment for employees using internal systems and external vendors for medical, dental, vision, and other benefit programs.
Processes employee status changes and maintains accurate records by compiling and validating data from internal systems and third-party sources to support HR operations and maintain data integrity.
Assists with monitoring and tracking fleet/pool drivers for the purpose of ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Years of Experience: 2 or more years of human resources or customer service experience required.
• Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.
