About the opportunity

As Australia’s newest uranium producer, we’re looking for a highly organised and people focused Human Resources Coordinator to support the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding activities.

Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, this role plays a key part in delivering a positive employee and candidate experience while ensuring accurate HR administration and compliance across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer focused, HR professional who enjoys coordinating multiple stakeholders, working in a fast-paced environment, has a sense of urgency, and enjoys contributing to a strong people and culture function.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Coordinate end to end recruitment activities, including job advertising, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, selection criteria, and recruitment timelines.
  • Manage applicant tracking systems and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Conduct reference checks and assist with employment offer preparation.
  • Coordinate site entry requirements including pre employment medicals and police clearances.
  • Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepare regular reporting on recruitment and onboarding status.

Onboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including employment contracts, documentation, and system access.
  • Prepare induction schedules and onboarding materials.
  • Liaise with IT, payroll, site administration, and hiring managers to ensure new starter readiness.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee records within the HRIS.

Exits (Offboarding)

  • Coordinate employee exit processes, including acknowledgement of resignations and completion of documentation.
  • Schedule and/or conduct exit interviews and accurately capture feedback.
  • Ensure timely return of company property and termination of system access.
  • Liaise with payroll regarding final pay, leave balances, and entitlements.
  • Liaise with ICT to ensure access and accounts are disabled.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee departures and reasons for turnover.
  • Prepare reporting and insights on employee turnover.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HR or people coordination role.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, with preference for experience in Mining and Resources.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Experience working with an HRIS (Employment Hero experience highly regarded).
  • High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Current South Australian driver’s licence and legal right to work in Australia.
  • Availability to travel to site on an irregular basis
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment & National Police Check
