Job Description

Your Role

At Gensler, we believe that people are at the heart of everything we design. We are looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented HR professional to support and enhance the employee experience across our Bogotá office and the broader region. In this role, you will contribute to the seamless delivery of HR programs and operations—from onboarding and compliance to reporting and employee support—helping to create an environment where our people can do their best work.

You will partner closely with regional teams, bringing a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to day-to-day HR processes while ensuring alignment with local regulations and global standards.

This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow while making a meaningful impact on both operations and culture.

What You Will Do

  • Support HR functions related to occupational health and safety (OHS) and protocol documentation.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR programs (e.g., onboarding, new hire documentation, OHS compliance) in the Bogotá office.
  • Create and maintain periodic and ad hoc reports on metrics such as headcount, employee demographics, compensation, and staffing/productivity.
  • Support research initiatives and special HR projects as needed.
  • Participate in staffing processes and other operational HR functions within the region.
  • Coordinate and ensure proper handling of regional immigration and visa processes.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and ensure compliance across the region.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
  • Maintain and update organizational charts.
  • Ensure accuracy and proper maintenance of HRIS data and employee records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or operational role.
  • Experience managing HR administrative processes (onboarding, documentation, reporting, HR systems).
  • Basic knowledge of Colombian labor law.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with AI tools, collaboration platforms (e.g., Miro), and design/presentation tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Proactive mindset with strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines.
