HR & Compliance Manager | $150k–$200k/Year

About the Role

This is an HR & Compliance Manager role focused on keeping the people side of the business running by the book. You'll own the employee handbook, manage hiring and firing, and stay ahead of state regulations and directives — making sure company policies and practices are always current, compliant, and sound. If you know HR compliance inside and out and take pride in getting the details right, this is your seat.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Regulations

• Stay current with state regulations, directives, and changes in the compliance landscape
• Ensure company policies and practices remain compliant and up to date
• Keep the company's HR practices sound and legally aligned

Policy & Documentation

• Own and maintain the employee handbook
• Keep policies clear, current, and consistently applied

Hiring & Employee Management

• Manage hiring and firing processes in line with company policy and legal requirements
• Handle day-to-day HR matters across the employee lifecycle

Qualifications

• Proven HR experience with a strong compliance focus
• Deep knowledge of state regulations and employment directives
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
• Ability to keep policies and practices current in a changing regulatory environment
