Integris, a division of Coastal Community Credit Union is currently searching for a HR Co-op Student to work at our corporate office in Prince George for approximately 10 months to the end of December 31, 2026. While in school, you will work a flexible 20 hours per week Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work full-time hours up to 37.5 hours per week when out of school during the summer months. Reporting directly to the VP of People, you will provide administrative support to the HR team. If you are interested, come chat with us and let us show you how life is like out here at Integris.

Expected work duration: March 2026 to end of December 2026. Please note that depending on business circumstances, this term could be shortened with appropriate notice.

Reporting to the VP of People, the HR Co-op Student provides administrative and recruitment support to the HR department while gaining practical, hands-on experience across a range of HR functions. Working closely with members of the HR team, the HR Co-op Student assists with day-to-day administrative tasks, supports recruitment and onboarding activities, and contributes to special projects as assigned. This role offers exposure to key HR processes including candidate screening, interview coordination, new hire documentation, data entry, and employee file management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. The HR Co-op Student collaborates with the HR team, employees, and external contacts to support efficient HR operations while developing foundational knowledge and skills in human resources.

Accountabilities:
  • Support Integris’ recruitment and selection processes under the guidance of the HR Manager and HR team.
  • Assist with coordinating internal and external recruitment activities, including posting job opportunities and tracking applicant information.
  • Help monitor recruitment metrics and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Communicate available job opportunities within the organization to ensure employees are informed of current postings.
  • Provide administrative support in developing job postings and selection criteria in consultation with hiring managers, ensuring alignment with best practices and Integris’ diversity strategy.
  • Assist with preparing employment offer letters and related documentation in accordance with internal policies and applicable legislation.
  • Support recruitment activities such as drafting and posting job advertisements, responding to applicant inquiries, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
  • Participate in resume screening, interview scheduling, and reference check coordination.
  • Contribute to talent attraction initiatives and support efforts to build internal and external candidate pipelines.
Administrative & HR Support:
  • Provide hands-on administrative support to the HR team across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HRIS and filing systems.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including employment checks, candidate communication, and new hire coordination.
  • Assist with preparing employment documentation such as offer letters, status changes, and termination paperwork.
  • Help coordinate first-day onboarding experiences in collaboration with Payroll, Risk, and Talent Development.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by supporting exit interviews, stay interviews, and feedback tracking.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and assist with HR reporting and calendar coordination.
  • Act as a first point of contact for routine HR inquiries, gaining practical exposure to employee relations and HR best practices.

Special Projects:

  • Assists with special HR related special projects from time-to-time.
