Job Description

Reporting directly to the Nuclear HR Leader, this role serves as an HR Business Partner for the Steam Power Services and Nuclear Installed Base business within the GVH Nuclear Business. The incumbent is responsible for crafting and executing human resource strategies to support the organization (including the hourly manufacturing population,) focusing on change management, organizational capability development, and employee relations. Key areas include recruitment, inclusion, talent development, succession planning, communications, recognition, and compensation planning. This HR Leader provides strategic leadership by aligning HR requirements with functional senior leadership and operationalizing these plans.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide HR leadership for the Steam Power Services and Nuclear Installed Base business line. Collaborate closely with executive leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals, driving business outcomes and enhancing leadership effectiveness.
  • Establish strong working relationships with leaders and support the strategic direction of the function in both day-to-day operation and strategic planning.
  • Champion talent priorities, leading the HR people agenda to support functional objectives and metrics
  • Develop and deploy organizational design and effectiveness solutions. Collaborate with the relevant COEs to analyse trends and metrics, identify gaps to develop and drive solutions.
  • Partner across the global HR team to implement consistent HR practices and drive the HR people agenda.
  • Promote a culture and environment that embodies the GE Vernova Way.
  • Coach and counsel senior leaders through organizational changes, challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and functional colleagues on engagement and culture activities. Identify and lead special projects to support team development
  • Lead strategic projects and participate in cross-functional HR initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • Significant years of experience in human resources positions; staff and/or client based

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $219,792 and 288,477 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: 15% Annual Bonus Potential

  • Collaborer avec l’équipe RH mondiale afin de mettre en œuvre des pratiques RH cohérentes et de faire progresser l’agenda RH des personnes.
  • Favoriser une culture et un environnement qui incarnent la façon de faire GE Vernova.
  • Coacher et conseiller les cadres supérieurs dans les périodes de changement organisationnel, ainsi que face aux défis et aux occasions.
  • Collaborer avec les partenaires d’affaires RH et les collègues fonctionnels sur les activités d’engagement et de culture. Cerner et diriger des projets spéciaux pour soutenir le développement de l’équipe.

Qualifications requises

  • Baccalauréat d’un collège ou d’une université accrédité(e), ou connaissance ou expérience équivalente.
  • Nombre d’années d’expérience importantes dans des postes en ressources humaines; en soutien au personnel et/ou à des clients.
