The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic advisor to

Consumer Financial Services, core business segment focused on serving mass and affluent customers through integrated financial solutions This role provides end‑to‑end HR partnership to support business transformation, organizational changes, workforce effectiveness, and people‑related strategies for a large and dynamic workforce. The incumbent must demonstrate strong business acumen, stakeholder maturity, and the ability to partner closely with senior Division Heads in a fast‑paced, high‑change environment.

You'll work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, creating a positive impact on our employees and customers. What you do

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leaders (Div Heads).
  • Translate business strategy into people strategies that drive performance, productivity, and workforce optimization.
  • Lead HR input into major initiatives including Branch Transformation, organizational redesign, and large‑scale business restructuring.

Organizational Development & Change

  • Partner with business leaders to plan and implement organisational changes, ensuring alignment with future business needs.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support transformation agendas, communication plans, and workforce transition activities.

Talent & Workforce Management

  • Develop and execute workforce plans, including manpower planning, succession planning, capability building, and internal mobility.
  • Identify critical talent gaps and propose development and retention strategies.
  • Work closely with Learning & Development to build capability for frontline roles supporting EMB, BCN and HD.

Performance & Rewards

  • Oversee performance calibration processes for assigned portfolios.
  • Provide guidance to business leaders on compensation matters, promotions, and recognition frameworks.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, culture, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Resolve escalated employee relations matters with sensitivity, discretion, and strong judgement.

HR Governance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards.
  • Partner closely with Centres of Excellence (COEs) — Talent Acquisition, C&B, L&D, ER — to deploy HR programmes.


Who you are

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of HRBP or HR leadership experience, ideally supporting large frontline or multi‑site operations.
  • Strong exposure to organisational transformation, restructuring, or business realignment.
  • Demonstrated credibility partnering with senior or C‑suite stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business acumen with ability to anticipate and solve people‑related challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Change management capability — proven ability to lead through ambiguity.
  • High maturity, sound judgement, and strong communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and use of AI tools

Education

  • Any basic degree.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an added advantage.
