Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to take ownership of the local HR function within a growing international operation in Braga. This is a hands-on role combining strategic business partnering with strong operational execution and significant autonomy.

• HR Operations & Processes: Own and continuously improve local HR processes, policies, reporting, and employee lifecycle practices.
• Business Partnering: Partner with local leadership on workforce planning, organizational matters, employee relations, and people-related decisions.
• Compensation & Benefits: Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits practices aligned with the local market and business needs.
• Talent & People Management: Coordinate recruitment activities and support broader talent, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure compliance with Portuguese employment legislation while proactively identifying and implementing practical HR improvements.

Key Requirements

• Professional Experience: Around 10 years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role.
• HR Ownership: Proven experience independently managing HR for a mid-sized organization, business unit, or local operation.
• Hands-on Expertise: Strong track record implementing and improving HR processes, policies, reporting, compensation, and people initiatives.
• Business & Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Portuguese employment legislation, combined with excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• International Profile: Experience in an international environment, with Shared Services or BPO experience considered a strong advantage, plus professional fluency in Portuguese and English.
