As HR Business Partner, you will join our HR Shared Service Centre in the Netherlands and work alongside seven HR colleagues supporting six companies across six locations. Your primary focus will be our sites in Lichtenvoorde and Staphorst while partnering with managers across the Dutch organization.

Reporting directly to the HR Country Manager Netherlands, you will support employees and collaborate closely with international HR Centers of Expertise to align local initiatives with global people priorities. In addition to your operational HR responsibilities, you will drive HR projects, organizational development initiatives, workforce planning, and change management programs that contribute to business success.

As a trusted advisor to managers, you will play a key role in translating business objectives into people strategies, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and creating a positive employee experience.

What will you do

• Partner with managers on all people-related topics and strategic workforce challenges.
• Translate business objectives into people strategies and workforce plans that support organizational growth.
• Coach and challenge managers on leadership effectiveness, team performance, talent development, and employee engagement.
• Support organizational development, transformation, and change management initiatives.
• Advise on employee relations, Dutch employment law, and HR-related regulations.
• Support absence management, reintegration cases, and compliance with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act.
• Analyze workforce and people data to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve organizational performance.
• Contribute to HR projects that strengthen our organization, culture, leadership capabilities, and ways of working.

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably within an international industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law, HR regulations, and employee relations.
• Practical expertise in absence management, reintegration, and the Gatekeeper Improvement Act.
• A proven ability to advise, coach, and influence managers in a dynamic business setting.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to combine strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
• A successful track record in delivering HR projects, change initiatives, or organizational development programs.
• Confidence in using HR data and metrics to inform business decisions.
• An interest in HR technology, digitalization, and AI-enabled HR solutions.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors is an advantage.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Availability to travel regularly between Lichtenvoorde, Staphorst, and other locations in the Netherlands.
