Trane is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a talented professional to join our team as a Manager – Human Resources for India Engineering and Technology Centers. In this pivotal role, you will play the role of HR business partner supporting senior leaders and will collaborate closely with the talent acquisition team, HR solutions team, T&OC team and total rewards team to meet your deliverables.

Where is the work:

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (4 or more days onsite per week) based out of Bangalore.

What you will do:

Strategic Partnership:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the business strategy and develop HR strategies that support the organization’s goals.
  • Provide strategic input and leadership on decisions affecting the organization, including workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.

Talent Management:

  • Lead talent management initiatives including talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
  • Partner for key talent development & growth

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to people leaders and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Manage employee relations in a fair and consistent manner.

Change Management:

  • Drive and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support business transformation and culture enhancement.

HR Analytics:

  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to enable data driven decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement and business impact.

Learning and Development:

  • Partner with the Learning and Development SPOC to identify training needs and enable execution of programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Total Rewards:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to facilitate informed compensation decisions, analyses, interventions, and insights.
  • Provide guidance on compensation strategies and manage the annual compensation review process.
  • Provide insights on benefits to total rewards leader based on stakeholder interactions

HR Projects & Org Initiatives:

  • Lead & partner on HR projects at both the country and team level.
  • Partner with the Org initiative leads to seamlessly execute the initiatives, counsel and provide support for success.

Culture Steward:

  • Serve as a People & Culture advisor, coach, and partner with people leaders to ensure their success.
  • Provide support to people leaders on their respective employee engagement initiatives.

What you will bring:

  • 12+ years of HR business partnering experience, preferably within Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and IT/ITES organizations.
  • Postgraduate degree in Business Management with specialization in Human Resources.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proactive and self-driven approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and partnering with leaders.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities with a collaborative and team-oriented working style.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to enhance processes and develop effective solutions to business challenges.
  • Proven experience in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Good understanding of leveraging AI in HR, supported by demonstrated practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with Workday HCM.
  • Proven ability to plan and collaborate effectively across functions and with key stakeholders to successfully deliver HR initiatives and projects.
  • Solid understanding of current talent trends, market practices, and evolving people strategies.
  • Good learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt to new concepts, changes, and ways of working.
