Job Description

The HR Business Partner provides hands-on HR business partnering support to front-line operations, primarily partnering with Supervisors, Team Leaders and other people leaders to address day-to-day employee and workforce matters.

The role serves as a trusted HR advisor to front-line leaders and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, attendance, performance management, disciplinary matters, workforce planning, employee engagement, HR policies and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Supervisors, Team Leaders and front-line managers to provide practical HR advice and support on day-to-day people and workforce matters.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, attendance, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, workplace conduct and conflict resolution, ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment requirements.
• Support workforce planning and manpower management by monitoring headcount, absenteeism, turnover, overtime and workforce trends, and provide recommendations to operations leaders.
• Oversee and coordinate foreign worker management, including workforce planning, work permits, employment documentation, contract renewals, transfers, repatriation and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure recruitment priorities, manpower requirements and hiring plans are aligned with operational needs; oversee progress without owning day-to-day recruitment execution.
• Partner with Learning & Development to identify operational training and competency needs, monitor completion of required training and ensure development priorities are aligned with business requirements.
• Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives by identifying employee concerns, analyzing turnover trends and partnering with front-line leaders on appropriate actions.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, benefits, leave, employment practices and other HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, internal movements, contract renewals and separations, ensuring proper HR processes and documentation.
• Review and utilize HR data and metrics to identify people-related trends, risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to operations leaders.
• Support HR audits, investigations, compliance reviews and HR improvement initiatives, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate documentation of employee matters.
• Collaborate with HR functional teams including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations and HRIS to ensure effective delivery of HR services to the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with experience supporting manufacturing or other operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, attendance management and workforce planning.
• Experience working directly with front-line supervisors and employees is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing or overseeing foreign worker employment and compliance matters preferred.
