How You'll Make an Impact

As an HR Business Partner, you sit at the intersection of people strategy and business execution. You work directly with department leaders to translate business goals into HR actions — from building talent pipelines and resolving people challenges to shaping a culture where high performance and meaningful growth co-exist. This is not a support function; it is a strategic ownership role where your decisions directly shape how teams perform, how people grow, and how the business scales.

The right person for this role listens before acting and considers downstream impact before escalating. They synthesize people data into clear recommendations, challenge inherited HR practices that no longer serve the business, and hold themselves accountable end-to-end for every outcome they drive. What You'll Do

Strategic HR Partnership

• Own the HR agenda for assigned business units — translate business priorities into people strategies that drive measurable outcomes, not just activity.
• Partner with department leaders to anticipate talent gaps, build hiring plans, and develop retention strategies before problems surface.

Employee Relations & Culture

• Take full ownership of employee relations cases from identification through resolution — listen carefully, act decisively, and ensure outcomes are fair and legally sound.
• Drive engagement initiatives grounded in data, not assumptions — measure impact, iterate, and raise the bar on what a healthy, high-performing culture looks like at Trusting Social.

Performance & Development

• Partner with leaders to run performance management cycles that are rigorous, feedback-rich, and development-oriented.
• Identify high-potential employees and build career development paths that keep talent growing within the organization.

Change Management & Organizational Design

• Lead change management processes for assigned departments — help leaders communicate transformation clearly and support employees in navigating ambiguity without losing momentum.
• Analyze organizational structures and recommend design changes based on workforce data and business direction.

HR Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Build from evidence — track HR metrics, identify trends, and synthesize signals into actionable insights for leadership before issues escalate.
• Collaborate with the broader HR team to align initiatives, share learnings, and continuously improve HR practices across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of HR experience, with a strong track record as an HR generalist or HRBP in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development principles.
• Experience in fintech, technology, or a high-growth startup is a strong plus.

• Business Owner — Takes full accountability for HR outcomes in assigned business units; makes calls without waiting for central approval and owns results end-to-end.
• Domain Expert — Applies deep HR expertise with confidence; advises leaders on complex situations, documents edge cases, and translates policy into practice without ambiguity.
• Relationship Manager — Builds lasting trust with leaders and employees; retention, pipeline health, and employee sentiment are measurable and improving under your watch.
• AI Operator — Integrates AI tools into HR workflows to improve quality and efficiency; monitors output quality and catches drift before it becomes a problem.
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written — professional fluency required).
• High adaptability and comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
