About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our Human Resources team in Birmingham as a HR Business Partner (HRBP). Within this role you will provide tailored support and partner with our Business Services teams playing both a strategic and hands-on role in delivering exceptional service. Working closely with our Business Services professionals throughout the entire employee life cycle, you will act as a trusted adviser to managers. By leveraging data, industry insights, and external knowledge, you will offer guidance, advice, and coaching to implement the firm’s people strategy and plans effectively.
Working as part of our wider HR function, you will ensure that our HR practices align with the firm’s culture, regulatory landscape, and business goals, while fostering a high-performance and inclusive workplace. As the HRBP, you should act as the central driver into and out of your group for the wider function to provide a cohesive, fully-rounded service, for example connecting recruitment with talent, succession with diversity etc.
You will be required to travel between London and Birmingham to fully support your client groups and the wider HR team
About you:
You will bring at least two years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within the professional services sector, with a proven track record of driving effective development, employee relations, and reward policies. Confident in challenging constructively and influencing decisions, you will guide actions that deliver the best outcomes for the firm. With a passion for quality, capability building, and investing in people, you will apply your excellent and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation to provide pragmatic, results-focused solutions to HR issues. Strong communication skills will enable you to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels, supported by exceptional planning and organisational ability. A commercial mindset, combined with proficiency in IT tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, will ensure you deliver a high-quality, strategic HR service.
