This exciting role within Knauf Insulation could be the perfect next opportunity for you to build a unique career, in a values-led culture with a clear purpose of making tomorrow a home for all of us.

Knauf Insulation is proud to be part of the Knauf Group, a global manufacturer of construction materials. Our division is approaching 50 years of heritage in manufacturing insulation, with a growing global reach in 40 countries and ambitious goals for the future. We are looking for passionate, ambitious people to join our 6,000-strong team and help us achieve these goals. We are all led by the same core values and believe in the powerful potential of large companies to have a positive impact on the world.

The expansion of the HR Central Team Department means we are now looking to recruit a new Knauf Insulation HR Analytics & Controlling Manager (EMEA/APAC), to be based on-site in Visé (Belgium), and reporting to the Knauf Insulation Chief Human Resources Officer (EMEA/APAC).

Can you say ‘yes’?...

  • Do you have a strong Finance/Controlling background, with hands-on experience in data analytics, workforce planning and HRIS systems?
  • Can you consider yourself a data-driven professional, equally at ease in Excel and modern cloud planning platforms?
  • Do you have experience in an international and a manufacturing company?

As HR Analytics & Controlling Manager, you will lead our HR Operations for the EMEA/APAC regions of Knauf Insulation across three core areas: HR controlling (including workforce planning, budgeting and FTE management), HR analytics & data quality, and digital transformation in HR.

This is an exciting position to take HR controlling, HR analytics and digitalization to the next level with real potential for further growth. The HR Analytics & Controlling Manager will collaborate closely with Financial teams (Controlling), HR Business Partners, HR Regional Directors, Business Leaders, Knauf Insulation Executive Committee and Group counterparts worldwide to ensure that projects and approaches are scalable across the organization, to identify process optimization and digitalization needs, and create strategic solutions to enable the organization to perform at its very best.

What you’ll be doing:

  • HR Controlling: You act as the HR Controller, in close collaboration with the Regional Business HR teams and the Central Controlling Department, covering HR budget, forecasts, FTE management and cost control measures; including regular presentations to the Executive Committee (Exco).
  • HR Analytics: You play a key role in creating, maintaining, monitoring and interpreting global HR data analytics, reporting & metrics for different strategic stakeholders and projects, including the workforce planning & budgeting project. This covers the management and monitoring of KPIs such as turnover, FTE evolution, age pyramid, and talent review results. The ability to correlate this data is essential.
  • You research and compare cloud-based budgeting & forecasting platforms, and lead the integration of workforce forecasts, actuals and reporting into these tools.
  • Digital transformation: As key user of HRIS tools, you manage and optimize HR systems and tools, including new HRIS and other digital/cloud platforms. You strengthen and professionalize HR data management practices. You have accountability to build knowledge across the HR network, assuring the correct process follow-up and proper system usage and data quality.
  • You stay update with new digital solutions, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to HR reporting and controlling; You partner with Group IT to ensure systems are up to date, secure and functioning efficiently. You contribute to the global digital strategic projects as Regional Process Coordinator (new HRIS project implementation).
  • You proactively take the lead on KI HR Projects related to HR Operations, depending on Group strategic priorities — proposing structures and analyses, and identifying key trends to support decision-making.

Travel to our locations in Europe is also expected (max 10% of time).

We are interested in you as a person; your attitude, behaviours and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you.
