Job Description

Our client, an international law firm, is currently seeking an HR Advisor for their HK office.

Responsibilities:

  • Check weekly Law Society notification reports.
  • Prepare annual and routine filings/reports to the Law Society.
  • Coordinate Trainee registrations, HK Admissions, and Registered Foreign Lawyer registrations.
  • Manage HK Certificate of Good Standing and Condition Removal applications.
  • Assist in "Annual Inspections" for HK-qualified lawyers in Shanghai and Beijing offices.
  • Maintain records of admission dates and Professional Fees for Employees' Tax Return Filing.
  • Handle annual renewals of HK/England & Wales practising certificates and Registered Foreign Lawyer certificates.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc/quarterly reporting for ESSAR Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Handle queries related to Law Society/regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with international law firms.
  • Degree qualification preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Chinese language skills are strongly preferred.
