ResQ: Where People Come First

At ResQ, we're not your typical outsourced contact centre. We partner with some of the UK's most recognised brands across the energy, telecoms, digital, and media sectors, delivering specialist customer contact solutions that make a real difference.

Our success is built on our people. We're passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive, and rewarding workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed. As a certified Great Place to Work, we celebrate individuality, recognise achievement, and foster a culture where careers can thrive.

We're now looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our growing HR team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys employee relations. Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you'll support managers across our operational teams, providing expert guidance on a wide range of people matters while ensuring fair, consistent, and commercially sound decision-making.

You'll take ownership of a varied employee relations caseload, partnering with stakeholders at all levels and helping to create positive employee experiences across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a high-volume employee relations caseload from initial consultation through to resolution.
  • Provide expert advice on disciplinary, grievance, capability, conduct, performance, and absence management matters.
  • Support managers through investigations, formal hearings, appeals, and case outcomes.
  • Manage long-term sickness absence cases, including occupational health referrals, reasonable adjustments, and return-to-work planning.
  • Deliver practical, commercially focused, and risk-aware HR guidance.
  • Prepare accurate and professional case documentation, correspondence, and records.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practice.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business.
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues within the HR team, contributing to continuous improvement and best practice.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise and the confidence to manage complex cases independently.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management matters.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting managers through formal HR processes and hearings.
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance business objectives with employee wellbeing and risk management.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working within a contact centre, shared service, or other high-volume operational environment.
  • Experience managing complex absence and long-term sickness cases.
  • Experience coaching or providing guidance to HR colleagues.

About You

You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys the employee relations aspect of HR and takes pride in providing practical, balanced advice that helps managers make informed decisions.

You'll be confident working autonomously, capable of managing multiple priorities, and skilled at building credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels. Most importantly, you'll share our passion for people and creating a positive workplace culture.

Why Join ResQ?

At ResQ, you'll become part of a progressive organisation that invests in its people and values your contribution.

  • 20 days annual leave (pro rata), plus bank holidays.
  • Your birthday off if it falls on a working day.
  • Access to exclusive retail discounts and high street offers.
  • A vibrant and inclusive workplace culture where you can truly make an impact.
