Role Information

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex people challenges, and has a particular passion for Employee Relations.

This is a permanent, hybrid working position, coming into our Burton office 2 days a week.

What You'll Be Doing

As a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, you'll provide practical, commercially focused HR support while ensuring a fair, positive, and legally compliant employee experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a varied Employee Relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, absence and flexible working matters.
Coaching and supporting managers to confidently navigate people issues and make effective decisions.
Conducting and supporting investigations, hearings, consultations and appeals.
Providing guidance on employment law, policies and best practice.
Supporting organisational change initiatives, including consultations and restructuring activity.
Helping drive continuous improvement across HR processes, policies and documentation.
Supporting wellbeing and attendance management, balancing colleague support with business requirements.

About You

You'll be a confident HR professional who can build credibility quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels.

We're looking for someone with:

Proven experience managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases end-to-end.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
The confidence to challenge constructively and influence decision making.
CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
