We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, based in Brisbane.
Reporting to the Manager – HR Business Partnering & Employee Relations, you will partner with leaders and employees across operational and corporate portfolios in geographically dispersed locations, to provide timely, accurate and consistent HR advice.
Working as part of an integrated HR team, you also will support the delivery of day-to-day HR activities and contribute to key enterprise-wide initiatives and HR projects.

What you’ll be doing:
Provide first-level HR advice on policies, procedures, award interpretation, and employee lifecycle matters,
Support and contribute to performance, conduct, and employee relations matters, ensuring compliance and procedural fairness,
Partner with leaders on leave and absence management, driving consistent and fair outcomes,
Coordinate performance and development processes, including probation reviews and goal setting,
Respond to HR queries and data requests, maintaining system accuracy and reporting integrity,
Contribute to the delivery of HR initiatives and enterprise programs,
Work closely with HR Business Partners and Employee Relations to support and escalate complex matters.
What you’ll need:
We are hoping our new team member will bring the following:
Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
Relevant experience in a HR or People & Culture role
A practical, organised and solutions-focused approach, with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with leaders and employees
A pragmatic, commercially minded mindset, with sound judgement and problem-solving capability
Curiosity and openness to new ways of working, including emerging technologies such as AI
A genuine passion for working with people and contributing to a connected, high-performing team
A desire to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact, while enjoying being part of a supportive team
