Job Description

This is administrative support to a human resources team whose people sit across four main locations, and the post is fully remote. The work is the employee lifecycle in practice: the processes, the records, the requests that arrive faster than they can be answered, and the systems underneath.

It suits someone who is genuinely quick with administrative work in a large organisation, is comfortable in a help desk with real volume, and is service-minded without needing to be told twice.

What you would be doing

• Support the HR staff services team across the administrative processes of the employee lifecycle, at all four main locations.
• Handle a high volume of requests in a help desk setting, keeping the record accurate as you go.
• Draft and publish information to customers about the HR services available.
• Offer constructive suggestions on office procedures, and contribute to making better use of the resources available.

What you would bring

• At least two years of administrative work in a large organisation, preferably in human resources or a closely related environment.
• Sound experience with the Microsoft Office applications — Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word — and with SharePoint in particular.
• Experience with HR systems such as Oracle EBS, Taleo or a comparable applicant tracking system, and with HR ticketing.
• Experience drafting and publishing information for customers on HR services.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience of an HR help desk with a high volume workload, a flexible attitude and the habit of taking the initiative.

The work is fully remote.
