Joining the People Services team in the capacity of a People Services Administrator, the HR Administrator Apprentice will provide first line support to our People Advisors, Partners and Managers, whilst working towards an industry recognised qualification. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you may be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
For you to do this, we will need a few bits from you…
You’ll need to demonstrate a desire to pursue a career within HR.
You will have no existing qualifications at Level 3 (A-level) or above in HR Support or a closely related subject, and will be able to commit to the course for the next two years. As such you may be required to sign a training plan which will serve as a contractual commitment to this.
You will need to possess GCSE's (or an equivalent qualification) in both English and Mathematics at Grade C / 4 or above, or else be willing and able to complete to this standard prior to obtaining your qualification at the end of the apprenticeship.
You will be friendly yet professional in your communications, and keen to build strong and effective relationships with colleagues.
You will be IT proficient, particularly in regards to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
You will be based at our Head Office in Enderby, Leicester, with reasonable time allowed for study commitments to be agreed with your line manager and apprenticeship tutor.
