A key aspect of this transformation is the UKSBS Matrix Programme. This major component of the Government’s Shared Services Strategy aims to provide modern, cost-effective and scalable business services to nine government departments. As part of our HR Operations team, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality HR services through modern systems and processes, helping to create a positive experience for our clients and customers.

From maintaining employee records and processing changes to supporting customers with their queries, no two days are the same. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and are always looking for opportunities to improve the way we work.

Due to continued growth and transformation, we now have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our HR Operations team.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve queries and deliver excellent outcomes for customers.
  • Update systems with changes, ensuring data is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support continuous improvement activities that enhance service delivery and customer experience.

To do this role well you will need:

  • Experience working in an HR administrative or general business administration environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work.
  • Highly customer and solution focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks within agreed deadlines.
  • Proven PC literacy.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong desire to acquire and develop new skills.
  • Experience working with HR systems or employee records would be advantageous.
