Salary: R29 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring an HR Administrator for a UK-based employer, working fully remotely from South Africa. You will keep the people function running day to day — contracts, records, onboarding and the steady stream of questions that come with looking after a team.

This suits someone organised who likes getting the details right and does not need chasing. You will be the person colleagues come to when they need something sorted properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft contracts, offer letters and variation letters.
• Maintain employee records and keep the HRIS accurate and current.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including IT and payroll handovers.
• Track absence, leave and probation review dates.
• Answer routine HR queries and escalate those that need it.
• Prepare documentation for audits and compliance checks.

What You Will Need

• Experience in HR administration or people operations.
• Familiarity with an HRIS such as BambooHR, Sage People or Workday.
• Confident with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.
• Clear written English — you will draft documents people rely on.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.
• Fully remote, based in South Africa.
• 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
