We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our People Team in a fast-paced and high-performance environment. This is an exciting opportunity to support the full employee lifecycle while contributing to a culture focused on excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the wider HR Operations team, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient, professional and accurate HR administration service across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a professional and responsive service to employees and managers.
- Coordinate onboarding activities including preparing starter packs, induction materials, reference requests and employee documentation.
- Conduct Right to Work checks in line with company processes and escalate any issues appropriately.
- Process DBS applications, track progress and maintain accurate records of outcomes.
- Maintain and update employee records across HR systems including HiBob, Pinpoint, IFS and Occupational Health platforms.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring employee data is accurate and submitted within required deadlines.
- Manage the HR shared inbox, responding to employee queries and escalating complex matters where necessary.
- Draft standard HR correspondence including employment confirmations and contractual documentation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives such as long-service awards, maternity gifts and wider People Team activities.
- Ensure all HR administration is completed accurately, confidentially and in line with GDPR and company policies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR or a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Professional, approachable and confident communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- A collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Interest in HR with a willingness to learn HR processes and systems
- Working towards or achieved CIPD Level 3 Desirable
