This temporary position is with NC DNCR - Zoo, located at 4401 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro NC, Randolph County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
NC Dept of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) – Zoo is seeking a temporary HR Admin provide general administrative support to the Human Resources Office, including assisting with special projects and departmental initiatives. The selected candidate for this role will:
* Assist with onboarding tasks, preparation of new hire paperwork
* Greet and assist employees, applicants, and visitors with routine HR questions and inquiries
* Scan, file, and maintain personnel records and other HR documents
* Monitor the Zoo HR shared mailbox and assist with responding to and managing employee inquiries
* Prepare employee communications, announcements, and other HR-related correspondence
* Assist with employee identification badge administration and related recordkeeping

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
