Job Description

As a Process Improvement Supervisor, you will drive operational efficiency by analyzing freight forwarding processes, managing improvement initiatives, and translating business and client requirements into effective solutions. This role focuses on process standardization, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting solution implementation to enhance operational performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis:

• Analyze end-to-end freight forwarding operations, from quotation and booking through shipment handling (air, ocean, trucking, export/import, consolidation) to invoice posting and cost accrual, identifying gaps and proposing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirement Gathering:

• Collaborate with key account management, operations, sales, IT and other departments to translate business needs into functional specifications.

Project Management:

• Lead improvement projects, defining scope, timelines, and deliverables to align with business objectives.

SOP Management:

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across departments and stations.

Training & Support:

• Facilitate solution implementation through training, documentation, and issue resolution to ensure successful adoption.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Shipping and Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Familiarity with freight management software (e.g., CargoWise One or other freight forwarding operating systems), including functionality and basic configuration.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Knowledge/Work Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or project management.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, including shipment handling and client requirements.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into operational solutions.
• Experience in documenting and maintaining SOPs.
