Job Title: Network Administrator – HPC Managed Services

Location: Singapore

Working Hours: 08:30 – 18:00, Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)

On-Call Requirement: Participation in 24×7 Out-of-Office Hours (OOH) on-call rotation for P1/P2 incident escalation support

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Network Administrator to join our High-Performance Computing (HPC) Managed Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high-performance network fabric that supports HPC operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tenant HPC fabric and data centre switching infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Perform network configuration backup, capacity/utilization reporting, and ensure operational compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including Layer 2/3 connectivity problems, routing, and switching faults.
• Support SDN, firewall, and VPN administration to ensure secure and stable network operations.
• Work closely with system, storage, and security teams to optimize overall HPC cluster performance.
• Participate in the 24×7 on-call rotation to support critical P1/P2 network incidents and escalations.
• Maintain network documentation, runbooks, configuration records, and change records in accordance with ITIL practices.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of experience in network support, monitoring, or troubleshooting within enterprise or HPC environments.
• Hands-on experience with data centre switching, SDN, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalent.
• Good troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.

Minimum Certification Requirements

• ITIL Foundation (or equivalent or higher).
• CCNA or equivalent certification.
