Explore the engineering behind large-scale computing—from the hardware that delivers performance to the automation that keeps it running. At GIGATEC, you’ll collaborate with product owners, program managers, hardware engineers, networking and storage teams, system administrators, and customer stakeholders to deliver reliable, service-focused hardware capabilities supporting the Agency’s STE/STN objectives. You’ll administer Linux cluster environments, automate operational and maintenance tasks with Bash and Python, and integrate software, storage, virtualization, and container technologies while maintaining security compliance. You’ll also create and maintain clear technical documentation that connects teams, preserves engineering knowledge, and supports long-term system sustainment.
