Position: HP NonStop Tandem Specialist

Infotel UK is seeking an experienced HP NonStop Tandem specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the HP NonStop Tandem systems to ensure high availability and reliability of critical business applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain HP NonStop Tandem environments, including system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure high system availability and performance by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and upgrades on HP NonStop Tandem platforms.
• Perform system backups, restorations, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Implement system security measures and monitor compliance.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with HP NonStop Tandem systems (formerly Tandem Computers).
• Strong knowledge of NonStop operating system and associated hardware.
• Experience with system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with system security and backup/recovery processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is preferred.
