OF THE ROLE
The Housing Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation, performance, and compliance of assigned affordable housing communities. This position provides leadership to on-site staff while ensuring quality resident services, high occupancy, timely rent collection, property maintenance, regulatory compliance, and strong financial performance. The Housing Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for residents, staff, contractors, and the Housing Authority, balancing customer service with accountability and operational excellence.

Job Duties:
Supervise the daily operations of assigned affordable housing communities to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant property management.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance oversight for assigned housing staff, ensuring accountability and adherence to agency policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, LIHTC requirements, Housing Authority policies, Fair Housing laws, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and unit make readies are completed timely and meet quality standards.
Collaborate with Housing Choice Voucher staff, Resident Services, contractors, vendors, and community partners to support resident success and efficient operations.
Support agency initiatives, special projects, audits, and inspections by maintaining organized records and ensuring audit readiness.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational - up to 24 months
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
**Agency Preferred Qualification: Previous property management experience is preferred but not required. **
