The selected applicant needs to provide good customer service, follow policy and procedure, and be able to work independently.

Agency preferred qualification:
Valid Louisiana Driver's License

Examples of duties

Three years of experience in administrative services, housing management, real estate, or social services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities include: taking applications and determining eligibility, responsible for enforcing the rules and regulations of the Housing Authority and HUD, maintain tenant files, answer phones, type correspondence, collect payments, complete monthly housekeeping inspections, perform annual re-certifications to determine continued eligibility, attend training to enhance knowledge of program

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: This appointment type can be filled as Probational - up to 24 months.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with paid holidays.
