Job Description
The Housing & Residence Life Intern will work closely with the Assistant Director of Academic Initiatives and Assessment and other professional staff with different data analysis projects.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director for Residence Life, Academic Initiatives & Assessment to identify advanced methods of data analysis through the Residential Curriculum.
- Assist professional staff with program data report pulling and evaluation utilizing department software and Microsoft Excel.
- Assist the Assistant Director of with all data monitoring and inputting.
- Provide monthly on attendance data for assigned programs.
- Provide analysis of attendance patterns, comparisons to previous years and suggested program updates.
- Managing confidential student information in adherence to FERPA guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional presence within the Residence halls.
- Additional tasks related to data reporting as assigned.
Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Must be in good academic standing with Florida Gulf Coast University.
- Maintain a 2.50 overall GPA.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Must be an active FGCU student, enrolled in at least 1 credit hour.
