RiseBoro’s Housing Navigator, Home 4 Good, will serve as an instrumental liaison between identified landlord partners and homelessness programs and supportive social services. They will screen, assess and refer clients for self-sufficiency and economic empowerment programs to promote housing stability upon relocation, as well as anti-eviction programs, financial assistance or charitable donations to resolve issues with rental arrears. The Navigator will work independently of other RiseBoro staff and be responsible for developing relationships with the partner landlord staff to maximize effectiveness. Navigator will also advocate so that every individual and/or household has a holistic housing service plan, is supported throughout their housing crisis, and has their short-term and long-term challenges addressed.
