Housing & Grounds Maintenance Worker
Location: Celina, OH
Pay: $22.16 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Housing & Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team in Celina, Ohio. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining residential housing, campus grounds, and facility systems to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on residential and campus facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Install and repair drywall, flooring, cabinets, countertops, doors, and hardware.
- Paint and maintain residential units and common areas.
- Service and repair appliances including refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.
- Maintain landscaping and campus grounds, including snow and ice removal.
- Assist with apartment turnovers, inspections, and general property upkeep.
- Maintain maintenance records, inventories, and work orders.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete maintenance and improvement projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of six years of experience in facilities, apartment, property, or building maintenance.
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, walk, and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work both indoors and outdoors.
Additional Information
- Occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-ins may be required.
- Safety training and required certifications will be provided.
- Background screening required.
