Job Description

This position will take the responsibility of leading & supervising Housing engineering team in developing eDrive application programs.

• Leading & Supervising housing engineering team to develop eDrive housing, meeting internal specifications and customer requirement.
• Manage the team, ensure the team follow BorgWarner product development process.
• Responsible for engineering capability improvement of the housing engineering team.
• Work with a cross-functional team to continuously improve the product development process, improve design quality and work efficiency.
• Create training plan and conduct training for the team.
• Based on the input of eDrive system. Lead the team to release the 3D model & 2D drawing and freeze the Casting design within the timing plan.
• According to the engineering development plan, responsible for the delivery of technical documents, such as the casting component DFMEA and special characteristic list.
• Responsible for housing related trouble shooting during product development.
• Communicating with casting suppliers for related technical issues (machining process, casting process, 3Dmodel status) and lead the signing of TFC documents.
