REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in human services or related field and 1 year of related work experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field and 3 years’ related work experience.
Understanding of the issues related to homelessness, mental health, and recovery from substance abuse disorder recovery.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid Drivers’ License
Act 33/34/73 clearances
Pre-employment drug screen
SCHEDULE: (non-exempt/hourly)
3 days per week 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. OR 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Housing Advocate role with Bethlehem Haven focuses on:
Permanent Supportive Housing Services Helping individuals secure and maintain stable housing.
Income & Benefit Coordination Assisting with financial resources and benefits.
Supportive Case Management & Follow-up Care Ensuring continuity of care for those placed in housing programs.
Collaboration Working closely with supervisors, colleagues, providers, and persons served.
Program Oversight Managing demand and supply of services, implementing best practices, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations
